Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G Review

The build of the smartphone is good especially when you compare it to other smartphones in the same price bracket. The curved back feels good and the dark blue color is attractive. The display has good viewing angles. The downside is that the colour reproduction isn't the best especially when you place the CanvasXpress 4G next to the Acer Liquid Z530. The UI on the phone is lightly skinned just like the ones we have seen on other Micromax smartphones. For everyday use the smartphone worked just fine. The call quality was good at both ends. There is a little audio leak from the earpiece at full volume, but I think this also be because the person I was speaking to was yelling. The speaker is positioned at the back of the phone, which isn't ideal if you place it face up on a table and listen to music. Most games run well, but graphically intensive games will suffer on the device.
The battery life : The smartphone lasted for about 7 hours in the GeekBench Battery test. The rear camera of the device is average and works if you want to post them on social networking sites.
If you are in the market to pick up a smartphone  under 7k, there are alot of options available that give the Micromax Canvas Xpressv 4G a run for its memory


FINAL VERDICT:  For a price of Rs. 6,599, the smartphone has 2GB of RAM, good viewing angles, 4G connectivity, and a good build. The camera on the smartphone is average at best, and the performance could have been better, especially when you have the likes of the Meizu M2 in the same price bracket. The audio output from the speaker is slightly soft, when you compare it to the competition, but it is loud when you use it as a loudspeaker during calls.

Obi has been around for well over a year. Soon after realising that their initial range of strangely-named smartphones were not really a rage in India and other markets, the company has gone back to the drawing board and come out with a new, affordable, Android-based smartphone called the Obi Worldphone SF1. How to play ac3 audio format on MX Player(android)

Downloading
Download one of the following codec according to your platform as mentioned in the player (Go to Settings 》 Decoder 》Custom Codec. Codec required is usually mentioned there). If you are not sure then download the all in one pack (AIO)

Method II:
  1. Open MX Player on your device.
  2. Go to Settings 》 Decoder 》 Custom Codec
  3. Navigate into the folder you have saved the file. It will show the downloaded zip file.
  4. Select the zip file. If you have selected the right zip file MX Player will Automatically restarts else it will revert with error ("Can't find custom codec for this version"). If you have multiple codecs in a single file (AIO version), it will automatically load the right codec for your device
  5. Once it restarts, from Options Goto Help 》 About. check whether the codec is loaded or not. If Custom Codec is loaded, it will show the platform & custom codec version below the MXPlayer version info.

Usage:

In H/W decoder:If you want to play DTS while using HW decoder, goto Settings 》 Decoder & Enable software audio. By this the Video will be rendered by H/W decoder and audio will be rendered by S/W decoder. (If you want to use it for only particular files when you playing the video, press on audio selection button & Enable S/W audio. S/W audio will be used temporarily for that file.)
In H/W+ & S/W Decoders:There is no special setting is required
